About Marc Ivory

Born and raised in the rich musical landscape of Detroit, Michigan, Marc Ivory has dedicated his life to worship, songwriting, and keyboard artistry.
His musical journey began at the tender age of 11 years old, when he first sat down to play the keyboard for the Indiana Avenue Church of God in Christ (COGIC). This early foundation in the church cultivated a deep sensitivity to spiritual worship and gospel harmonics.
As his musical talent grew, Marc took on larger roles in the Detroit gospel community. He spent 13 highly successful years serving as the Minister of Music at Detroit's prominent Citadel of Praise church. Under his leadership, the music department flourished, delivering powerful weekly worship experiences that resonated across the city.
Today, Marc acts as a recording artist, writer, keyboardist, and producer, shaping contemporary gospel music while maintaining his roots in classic gospel forms.

As the founder of Ivory Keys Music, Marc provides music production, keyboard instruction, and creative consulting to help aspiring musicians and artists find their voice in worship.
Team Builders For Christ
Marc is the founder and Pastor of Team Builders For Christ Ministries, an active online and in-person ministry. Through this work, they conduct community outreach, including their signature Jesus Cares initiative, which supplies food, clothing, and essential support to families in need.
